The Gallows Gospel - Hoodie

The Gallows Gospel — Two-Sided Graphic Hoodie

The Gallows Gospel is a black graphic hoodie from Punkrabbits, pairing a red chest title with a large Western-inspired back illustration. A stern outlaw presents a hanging noose against a roadside desert scene, with a red disc behind his head. Redemption comes with uncomfortable questions.

Artwork and meaning

The rope dominates the foreground, its oversized loop pulling your eye toward the figure’s hand. Crosses hang against his dark clothing, while a motel sign, car, telephone poles and distant rock formations locate the scene in a recognisable roadside world.

The title brings a promise of salvation into contact with an instrument of punishment. Who gets to decide what justice looks like? Is the figure offering judgment, deliverance, or both? The composition keeps those readings in tension rather than assigning him an uncomplicated heroic role.

Artwork details

• Front: Stacked red “The Gallows Gospel” lettering above an ivory “A Punkrabbits Picture” line.
• Back: A noose-bearing outlaw, cross jewellery, desert roadside, motel sign and car, with a red disc and cinematic title.
• Visual language: Broad ivory highlights and charcoal shadows give the figure a carved presence; red anchors the lettering and sky.

The Winter 26 collection

Within Punkrabbits’ Winter 26 collection, The Gallows Gospel turns the Western poster into a study of conviction and consequence. Its roadside details make the scene feel inhabited, while the looming rope unsettles the familiar lone-gunman composition. The collection’s art-as-a-point-of-view approach leaves room for your own interpretation.

Who this hoodie is for

For lovers of dark Western imagery, Gothic fashion and illustrated film posters with moral friction. It suits people who appreciate bold typography, symbolic detail and a piece that becomes more interesting the closer you look. The smaller chest print keeps the front easy to style.

Hoodie, fit and sizing

This design uses the Gildan 18500 pullover hoodie, with a drawstring hood, front kangaroo pocket, and ribbed cuffs and hem. Black sizes S–5XL are listed. Check the product’s measurements against a familiar hoodie to choose your fit and allow space for any layers.

How to wear it

Wear it with faded black denim and boots for a rough roadside mood. Straight grey trousers give the red title a cleaner setting. Let the back illustration remain visible when possible: the rope, figure and landscape need their full space to tell the story.

Print and care

Both sides carry printed artwork. Use the garment’s care label as your guide, turn it inside out before washing, and avoid direct ironing over the graphics.

A verdict you can wear. A judgment you make yourself.
