Symbiosis - Hoodie

Symbiosis is a black unisex graphic hoodie from Punkrabbits’ Synthesis series in the Winter 26 collection, with a compact front print and a large illustrated back print.

Artwork and meaning

Symbiosis places a human skull inside an active tangle. An upward-reaching hand cradles it while red octopus tentacles curl around the bone and pass across its mouth. Repeated suction cups give the red shapes a physical presence; the ivory hand’s engraved lines offer a quieter counterpoint. The composition suggests contact, support and intrusion at the same time. It leaves the relationship unresolved: is one form holding another together, taking it over, or simply refusing to let go? The front continues that exchange through paired upright and inverted lettering, turning the title into a compact relationship between two orientations.

Artwork details

• Front: paired upright and inverted ivory Symbiosis lettering.
• Back: an ivory skull cradled by an upward-reaching hand amid red octopus tentacles with suction cups, with ivory Symbiosis lettering.
• Visual language: red and ivory graphics on black, detailed carved linework and expressive lettering.

The Winter 26 collection

Within Winter 26’s Synthesis series, this design combines human remains, a living gesture and marine forms. Its sense of interdependence emerges from those visible connections rather than a written slogan. It brings the collection’s philosophical thread to a question that can be intimate or collective: how much of what holds us together also changes our shape? The surrounding tentacles make that question mobile, rhythmic and difficult to untangle.

Who this hoodie is for

For lovers of octopus imagery, skull illustration, dark marine art and unusual typographic marks. It is particularly suited to people who notice hand gestures and compositional detail, or who enjoy a bold back print paired with a front graphic that rewards a closer look.

Hoodie, fit and sizing

Printed on the black Gildan 18500 Heavy Blend hoodie: 50% cotton and 50% polyester fleece in a classic unisex fit. The pullover has a drawstring hood, kangaroo pocket, and ribbed cuffs and hem. Available in S–5XL. Compare the size guide with a hoodie you already wear; choose your usual fit or allow extra room for layering.

How to wear it

Use black utility trousers and a simple ivory or cream accessory to connect with the bone-colored drawing. Let the tentacles supply the outfit’s strongest color. The paired chest lettering works beneath an open overshirt; keep the hoodie uncovered when you want the complete hand, skull and curling frame visible.

Print and care

Both front and back carry artwork. Follow the garment’s care label. To care for the prints, turn the hoodie inside out and use a gentle, cool wash. Avoid bleach and ironing directly on either graphic. Air drying is a gentle option; follow the label if using a dryer.

Held together. Changed by the holding.
