Short Circuit Syd — Two Sided

Short Circuit Syd — Two Sided

Short Circuit Syd carries a black robot with antennae, lit eyes and blue electrical arcs on the back of a two-sided Punkrabbits graphic T-shirt. A smaller front mark introduces the character before the full illustration comes into view.

Artwork and meaning

Short Circuit Syd looks as though someone switched on a discarded robot and discovered it had opinions. One eye burns orange, the other catches a jagged blue spark; loose cables trail around its feet. A plug-like piece sits in one hand while the other holds a raygun-shaped device. The figure has the posture of a toy refusing to follow its last instruction. Bright coral and yellow shapes behind the body turn a technical fault into a sudden entrance, funny at first and a little defiant on the second look.

Artwork details

• Back: large black antennaed robot with glowing eyes and blue electrical arcs
• Front: small red and yellow Short Circuit Syd emblem
• Visual language: The robot’s dark body and glowing round eyes sit against coral and yellow bursts. Antennae, loose wires, a chest display and zigzag electrical marks supply the close-up details.

The Defective Toys series

Defective Toys imagines what happens after the toy-store lights go out and the old characters stop playing their assigned parts. Syd gives that idea an electrical pulse: the supposed fault becomes the source of motion. The back print is a full character scene; the front acts as a quick signal.

Who this shirt is for

For fans of unruly retro robots, old electronics and comic-book color with a dark edge. Syd suits someone who likes a joke that becomes a story once the details come into focus.

Shirt, fit and sizing

Unisex crew-neck T-shirt with a classic regular fit. Listed color: Military Green. Compare the size chart on this page with a shirt you already own; size up if you want a looser silhouette. Select an available size in the options.

How to wear it

Military Green lets the red and yellow burst stand out without competing with the black robot. Wear it with dark denim and leave the back visible to keep the cable and spark details in view.

Print and care

Original Punkrabbits artwork printed on the garment. Wash inside out in cold water with similar colors, then tumble dry low or hang dry. Avoid ironing directly over the print. Follow the garment care label for further instructions.
