Mystic Psilocybe — Two Sided

Mystic Psilocybe — Two Sided

Mystic Psilocybe carries a wooden house with one enormous eye beneath a roof of mushrooms across the back of a Punkrabbits shirt. A smaller front mark lets the idea enter quietly before the full image turns into view.

Artwork and meaning

Mystic Psilocybe turns the place of shelter into a place that watches. An eye fills the gable of a little house; its walls appear to ripple toward the door. Mushrooms cluster along the roof and path, with bare trees pressing in at the sides. The image reads like a fairy tale paused just before the door opens: inviting, uncanny and unwilling to explain itself.

The path leads to the door, but the eye is the first thing that meets you.

Artwork details

• Back: large gold mushroom house with a large eye and narrow doorway
• Front: small gold Mystic Psilocybe wordmark
• Visual language: Gold carved lines shape the peaked roof, eye, mushrooms and wavering house front on black. The front carries a narrow Mystic Psilocybe title.

The Garden of Psyche series

Garden of Psyche turns plants and places into maps of thought. In Mystic Psilocybe, the image explores the uneasy curiosity of approaching a door that may already see you. The series moves between beauty, appetite, memory and the uncanny, allowing each botanical form to carry a feeling without claiming that a plant can solve it. It belongs to a garden imagined by the mind, where a second look changes what first seemed familiar.
