Lobotomia — Two Sided

Lobotomia — Two Sided

Lobotomia places a skull inside a measuring frame of rods and metal arcs. The large back image is paired with a small surgical-tool graphic and title on the front of this two-sided Punkrabbits tee.

Artwork and meaning

The apparatus seems built to make an unruly mind fit a specification. Metal bars press around the head while a toothed instrument rests below it, calm and deliberate like an item in a technical diagram. The skull is already bare; still, the machine insists on an adjustment. White bursts behind the construction suggest a revelation, or the violence hidden in the language of improvement. This is not a medical claim or a historical illustration. It is a visual argument about institutions that call alteration a cure when they want obedience. The dry, etched look gives the whole scene the cold authority of an old manual.

Artwork details

• Front: small horizontal surgical-tool motif over Lobotomia and Relics of Violence lettering
• Back: large skull constrained within a metal measuring device, tool below, Lobotomia lettering
• Visual language: Black engraved lines on pale fabric, with an off-white burst behind the apparatus.

The Relics of Violence series

Relics of Violence collects the symbols that remain after control has done its work. Lobotomia imagines a device as a relic of enforced normality: the hardware survives, and so does the belief that every difference needs correction.

Who this shirt is for

For wearers drawn to macabre diagrams, institutional critique and precise line art. Its horror comes from the tidy presentation as much as from the skull.

Shirt, fit and sizing

Unisex crew-neck cotton T-shirt with a classic regular fit. Listed colors: Sand, White, Ice Grey. Use the size chart on this page and compare the measurements with a tee you already own. If you are between sizes or prefer more room, consider sizing up. Choose a currently available color and size in the options.

How to wear it

On Sand or the other light options, let the black drawing do the work with plain trousers. The compact chest graphic reads quietly beneath an open layer; the apparatus takes over when you turn.

Print and care

Original Punkrabbits artwork printed on both sides. Wash inside out in cold water with similar colors and tumble dry low or hang dry. Avoid ironing directly over the print; follow the garment care label for further instructions.
