In God We Trust: Gold Edit — Two Sided

In God We Trust: Gold Edit places a skull-faced authority figure in dark glasses beneath “In God We Trust” on the front of a two-sided Punkrabbits graphic T-shirt. A small Rogue Police wordmark on the back signs the design without competing with the main portrait.

Artwork and meaning

In God We Trust: Gold Edit gives a familiar phrase a new speaker. The figure wears an official-looking cap marked with a dollar sign; black lenses cover the eyes, and the face below is already bone. The words arch over the head in white while gold linework describes the collar and the rough lettering underneath. A bright blue paint strike breaks the otherwise restrained palette. The joke is direct, but the image leaves the uneasy question hanging: what is being trusted when the symbol above the face has become money?

Artwork details

• Front: large skull-faced figure in sunglasses and dollar-marked cap with white lettering and blue paint
• Back: small white Rogue Police wordmark with a red mark
• Visual language: Cream bone, antique gold, black sunglasses and a vivid blue splash sit against the black shirt. The hand-drawn type and scratched lower marks keep the portrait raw.

The Rogue Police series

Rogue Police pulls old symbols of authority off their pedestals and turns them into street posters. Gold Edit pushes the monetary symbol to the center of a pious phrase, then interrupts its formal portrait with blue paint. The large front image asks the question; the back mark signs the intervention.

Who this shirt is for

For people who like political satire carried by portraiture and typography. The dollar sign and glasses make the point before the smaller marks invite a closer reading.

Shirt, fit and sizing

Unisex crew-neck T-shirt with a classic regular fit. Listed color: Black. Compare the size chart on this page with a tee you already own, especially between sizes; size up for a looser silhouette. Choose an available size in the options.

How to wear it

Wear the black tee with charcoal denim or plain workwear. Leave the front exposed so the white headline, gold portrait and blue paint all read together.

Print and care

Original Punkrabbits artwork printed on the garment. Wash inside out in cold water with similar colors, then tumble dry low or hang dry. Avoid ironing directly over the print. Follow the garment care label for further instructions.
