Hostile Takeover - Hoodie

Hostile Takeover is a black unisex graphic hoodie from Punkrabbits’ Eat the Rich series in Winter 26, with a restrained front wordmark and a large Gothic illustration across the back.

Artwork and meaning

A veiled nun holds a revolver and a golden rosary beside a crown and an ornate circular vault door. The arch borrows the visual authority of sacred architecture while the vault places money at its center. Ivory fabric folds pull the eye toward the figure; gold details turn the surrounding stonework into something almost ceremonial. A small flash of red at her mouth adds an irreverent note to the solemn pose. You can read the composition as a collision between devotion, possession and force: several institutions of power occupying the same frame, with none allowed an entirely innocent role.

Artwork details

• Front: Cream Punkrabbits blackletter wordmark with a dark charcoal ornamental motif.
• Back: A veiled nun with an illustrated revolver and gold rosary, beside a jeweled crown and an ornate vault arch; large cream Hostile Takeover lettering and an Eat the Rich by Punkrabbits line sit below.
• Visual language: Engraved-style ivory illustration, gold architectural accents, charcoal ornament and small red highlights on black.

The Winter 26 collection

Hostile Takeover gives Eat the Rich a setting where financial wealth and ceremonial authority share the same architecture. The crown suggests inherited rank; the vault makes accumulation physical; the rosary introduces a competing claim to belief. Rather than resolving those symbols into a single hero, the design keeps their alliances uneasy. It belongs to Winter 26’s view of clothing as art and a point of view, asking what remains sacred when power has acquired the keys.

Who this hoodie is for

For admirers of Gothic illustration, subversive religious imagery and dark political satire. The composed front makes it easy to wear beneath an open coat, while the detailed back rewards people who look beyond the title. It is especially suited to an alternative wardrobe that treats a graphic as a conversation.

Hoodie, fit and sizing

The black Gildan 18500 Heavy Blend hoodie has a classic unisex fit and 50% cotton, 50% polyester fleece. Its pullover construction includes a drawstring hood, kangaroo pocket, and ribbed cuffs and hem. Choose from S–5XL. Consult the product’s size guide and compare measurements with a hoodie you already like; account for any shirt or extra layer underneath.

How to wear it

Wear it with charcoal tailored trousers and heavy black footwear to echo the architectural drawing. Keep accessories simple so the gold details stay distinct. On milder days, let the complete back image stand alone with the hood down; an open dark coat frames the front wordmark when temperatures drop.

Print and care

Both front and back carry artwork. Follow the garment’s care label. For gentle print care, turn the hoodie inside out and wash on a cool, gentle cycle. Avoid bleach and direct ironing on either graphic. Air drying is a gentle option; follow the care label when using a dryer.
