Butterfly Potion — Two Sided

Butterfly Potion — Two Sided

Butterfly Potion gives a skull-faced figure broad butterfly wings and a crownlike growth. The large back portrait is paired with a small butterfly at the chest.

Artwork and meaning

The wings borrow their delicate veins from nature, but they rise behind a skeletal face and a dark, wrapped body. That conflict keeps the image from settling into either a simple death symbol or a cheerful rebirth. Pale blackletter curves behind the figure like a seal, with the Relics of Violence name beside the cheek. The little butterfly on the front looks almost ordinary until you turn and see what it belongs to. The title suggests a transformation already underway, yet the result is deliberately unresolved: something survived, something changed, and neither fact makes the other disappear.

Artwork details

• Front: small butterfly with fine trailing lines and faint lettering
• Back: large skull-faced winged figure with curved Butterfly Potion lettering and series mark
• Visual language: Black etched anatomy and butterfly-vein detail against Sand and other light options.

The Relics of Violence series

Relics of Violence examines the marks left by control. Butterfly Potion takes that question into metamorphosis: the wings promise change, but the skull refuses a clean story of renewal. It wears survival without pretending it was painless.

Who this shirt is for

For people drawn to gothic butterflies, skeletal portraits and transformation imagery with an edge. The front is quiet; the back carries the unsettling detail.

Shirt, fit and sizing

Unisex crew-neck cotton T-shirt with a classic regular fit. Listed colors: Sand, White, Graphite Heather. Use the size chart on this page and compare the measurements with a tee you already own. If you are between sizes or prefer more room, consider sizing up. Choose a currently available color and size in the options.

How to wear it

Wear the light tee with charcoal pants to set off the black drawing. A loose open shirt can frame the small butterfly at the front, but let the winged figure have the back when possible.

Print and care

Original Punkrabbits artwork printed on both sides. Wash inside out in cold water with similar colors and tumble dry low or hang dry. Avoid ironing directly over the print; follow the garment care label for further instructions.
