Description

Big Brother — Two Sided is a black unisex graphic T-shirt with a small 1984 Dystopian Dreams chest mark and a commanding portrait across the back. The suited figure's red eye turns Orwell's watcher into a single, impossible-to-miss image.

Artwork and meaning

The back print is built like a state-issued poster. Red, white and yellow bands frame a stern face; two stars and a 1984 label supply the visual authority. One eye is a red lens, while a tiny figure stands beneath the tie. That imbalance is unsettling: the watcher fills the field, and the watched person nearly disappears. The title is familiar, but the composition gives it physical weight. It asks what happens to ordinary choices when people learn to anticipate the gaze of power.

Artwork details

Front: Small pale 1984 / Dystopian Dreams / By Punkrabbits chest lettering.
Back: Large BIG BROTHER portrait with red surveillance eye, suited figure, propaganda stripes and 1984 marker.
Color: Black.

The Dystopian Dreams series

Dystopian Dreams borrows the graphic confidence of propaganda to expose its demand for obedience. Big Brother is the series' most direct image of surveillance made personal. The series uses theatrical state imagery to make abstract pressure visible. The red eye is a device, but the ordinary suit makes the figure familiar enough to feel plausible. Together, the little chest text and towering portrait suggest how a system can arrive first as branding and then as an expectation of obedience.

Who this shirt is for

For Orwell devotees, dystopian film and book fans, and people who prefer an understated front with a powerful reveal on the back.

Shirt, fit and sizing

Unisex cotton crew-neck T-shirt with a regular fit. Available in black, sizes S through 5XL. Compare the size chart with a garment you own; choose a larger size if you want more room.

How to wear it

The small front mark suits an open jacket; wear the tee on its own when you want the full back portrait in view.

Print and care

Direct-to-garment print. Wash inside out in cold water with similar colors; tumble dry low or hang dry. Avoid ironing directly over the artwork and follow the garment's care label.

The watcher has a face. The question is whether you meet its eye.
