Alloy Ted — Two Sided

Alloy Ted — Two Sided

Alloy Ted carries a brass-colored toy bear with mismatched button eyes on a small box on the back of a two-sided Punkrabbits graphic T-shirt. A smaller front mark introduces the character before the full illustration comes into view.

Artwork and meaning

Alloy Ted seems to have been built from spare parts and given a smaller companion. One eye has an X, the other a red spiral; a little mechanism sits on the chest. Ted stands on a toy chest while a miniature figure waits beside him. The old product-banner shape above gives the scene a strange showroom polish. That neat presentation is what makes the odd pair compelling: it invites you to inspect the label, then notice the asymmetry, the companion and the suggestion that this toy has lived several lives already.

Artwork details

• Back: large brass-colored bear toy with mismatched eyes and a tiny companion on a box
• Front: small curved orange Alloy Ted name
• Visual language: Warm brass, orange and dark red make the bear’s round head, rivet-like marks and mechanical chest stand out against black. The arched name frames the scene.

The Defective Toys series

In Defective Toys, the display case is no guarantee that the object inside will behave. Alloy Ted looks packaged for admiration, but his mismatched eyes and little companion complicate that polished first impression. The name on the front recalls a product badge; the back tells the longer story.

Who this shirt is for

For collectors of strange toy imagery, mechanical bears and detailed illustrated characters. The tiny second figure is a reward for someone who never stops at the first glance.

Shirt, fit and sizing

Unisex crew-neck T-shirt with a classic regular fit. Listed color: Black. Compare the size chart on this page with a shirt you already own; size up if you want a looser silhouette. Select an available size in the options.

How to wear it

Wear the black tee with simple denim or workwear tones. Keep the back open so the banner, box and two characters can read together.

Print and care

Original Punkrabbits artwork printed on the garment. Wash inside out in cold water with similar colors, then tumble dry low or hang dry. Avoid ironing directly over the print. Follow the garment care label for further instructions.
